How is the training delivered?

Our method of delivery for the Diploma in Coaching is interactive and dynamic. It taps into the experience and knowledge which individuals in the group may already have. The views of all participants are respected and case studies and videos are used to create an open forum for discussion. The use of a tailored business coaching toolkit and exercise is an integral part of the training. Group discussions are consistently encouraged and nutured throughout the programme. All Trainers are Master Coaches and our Course Director is a Master Coach and a Fellow of the European Coaching Institute. All course materials are provided to each student throughout the duration of the course and in addition to this students are also given access to our  e-learning site, providing them with our learning resources on demand.

Is Mentoring an aspect of the programme?

Yes, the concept and definition of Mentoring is introduced to students on the programme as we believe that mentoring is one of the fastest growing methods of developing skills and talent in European organizations and is complementary to the skill of coaching.

What are my payment options?

Many training organisations in Ireland today require tuition fees to be paid in full before starting a course. At Kingstown College we are proud to be different. We understand that in our current economic climate it may be difficult to part with a large sum of money upfront. For this reason Kingstown College utilises payment plans tailored to each individual students’ needs. To avail of our payment plan we request that a deposit of €250 is submitted prior to the student starting their course. We accept cash, credit card payments and bank transfer, and can issue an invoice to your corporate accounts department if that is required.

Please phone us on 01-2845360 or email [email protected] and we’ll be delighted to answer any queries you may have.

Can my employer sponsor my fees?

Yes, your employer may choose to fund your studies. By providing your employer with some basic information, they may pay your fees securely, on your behalf, using our online payments system or paying by credit card or by invoice through our accounts department.

Do you teach NLP on the programme?

Yes, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) is introduced to students in Module 3. We will introduce them to the foundations of NLP and show them how to integrate this learning into their Coaching Practice.

What are the different kinds of Coaching?

Currently, there are two major branches of Professional Coaching: Personal, Leadership Coaching, Executive/Business and Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaching, but each is quickly gaining sub-specialties. Each one goes by the following names. Personal and Leadership Coaching has a core grounded in Life Coaching, Success Coaching, Personal Life coaching and Career Coaching but has the latest material around Leadership and Team Coaching. It is commonly used to help all kinds of people in their personal lives to accomplish their dreams and to grow personally. Business and Executive coaching is also known as: Executive Coaching, Corporate Coaching, Management Coaching, Small Business Coaching, Sales coaching and Leadership Coaching, to mention a few. There are distinctions and separations between these areas and even the specific names, but the primary differences are in the people served and the problems most commonly encountered, rather than the techniques used, the coach’s ability, their training, or even their own personal experiences.

Do you provide any kind of guarantee?

Yes, we offer something extremely rare in our industry – a 100% money back guarantee. If you are not absolutely satisfied with your training having completed Module 1 of the Diploma Programme you will be refunded in full.
